Selhurst Park, Tuesday 8.00pm
Mick McCarthy, recently appointed as Ipswich Town manager, won Ipswich their first match in 13 attempts at the weekend, as DJ Campbell's third goal of the season saw off Birmingham City.
The game this evening will see Ian Holloway in charge of his first match for the Eagles.
The Eagles will be hoping to continue their fine run of form and increase it to 12 games unbeaten.
Ian Holloway will be in charge of his first game, but will be aided by CURTIS FLEMING and Keith Millen in the dugout.
Jon Williams limped out of the Development match against Middlesbrough on Monday night, so is likely to be unavailable for selection.
Paddy McCarthy continues to be sidelined with a groin problem.
Ipswich's Paul Taylor could miss the majority of the season after undergoing surgery on a foot injury, but Guirane N'Daw has keen declared fit after shaking off a touch of cramp.
Mick McCarthy
"Palace will be cock-a-hoop with the way they have been playing and the fans will be behind them.
"Despite the fact they have lost Dougie, they have won their last two matches. Now with Ollie there, he will bring a whole load of life to it and certainly lift the profile of the club. I think it is great for him. I haven't spoken to him but the family reasons he talks about is important.
"Could he done any more (at Blackpool)? He missed out on keeping them up on the last day. There comes a time when you feel you have to move on. It is a good job for him and I think he can get them promoted."
